Our projects have impacted over 1000 families and have directly contributed to upward social mobility in Belize by providing a service and mechanism through which the Government of Belize can realize its goal of efficiently and equitably distributing land, and the social and economic capital derived thereof, to the people of Belize. In addition to private citizens, Grid Point Surveying’s most recent collaborators have included several governmental and semi-governmental organizations. These collaborations have led to an increase in the number of first-time land owners, mapping data, and land registrations. They have also led to the collection of valuable demographic and socioeconomic data that can be used for other types of targeted community-building efforts.
